Perception of E-Learning by Parents in Tertiary Education in Malaysia

ABSTRACT
The increasing custom of internet has resulted in the elevated pressure for more interactivity and user control, which are identified as the basis for this study. The information extracted from this study will serve as a channel for the development of online teaching materials for adult undergraduate learners. The evolution of online study programs prompted the need for a closer examination of student interaction, engagement and motivation. This study intends to decipher whether there are any knowledge retention by students who tends to undertake such modus operandi as navigation is based on the teaching materials. This study analyzes the impact of e-learning in the modern world. This leads to the transmission of different ideas on e-learning in order to develop efficient and effective understanding of the subject. The research fits mixed research approach in the identification and interpretation of various phenomenons which are considered essential for the efficient and interpretative understanding of the subject.
