Introduction

It is a very highly adopted trend in recent years that people who are facing various sort or social, political and economical troubles in their homeland want to be citizens to some other country. This situation is quite questionable because this creates huge issues for their home lands in the form of brain drain and labor mobility. But at the same time, it not has a long-lasting impact for their well being. Issues like labor mobility and population migration are turned out to be prominent adoptions in so many parts of the world. Reason to do so may vary among different individuals. There are individuals who go for the particular option due to their necessities which are almost diverse. For instance some move for education, others for jobs and there are also many who leave their country due to various social pressures they are facing in their homeland (van de Vijver & Phalet, 2004).

Discussion

Making a decision to leave the homeland and moving to some other is something which often brings a kind of disconnection. This particular disconnection is from a social and cultural setting to which one was familiar. At the same time there is also a separation with the friends, families, and isolation from sources of support like teachers and mentors (Suárez-Orozco, Todorova, & Louie, 2002).
