Chrysler group has its association with the Fiat. Chrysler is now producing the vehicles of Fiat in the state of North America. The Fiat automobiles which are manufactured by Chrysler are sold by Chrysler within North America and Fiat can sell these automobiles across the world. The products which are produced by the merger of Fiat and Chrysler are cars, utility vehicles like sports and crossover, mini vans, pickup trucks and medium trucks. The association with fiat automobiles gives durable profit to the Chrysler Company. The new benefits include entry to the plat forms of new vehicles and an introduction of new technology, production of more efficient fuel consuming small vehicles and large commercial vehicles. Later, in the year 1922 fiat was known as the largest factory of Europe with an excellent infrastructure of the building. The company then started manufacturing the agricultural and military vehicles. They achieved expansion in local sales and export in the decade of 1960s. Fiat manufactured Fiat 500 and Fiat 600 that were the bestseller cars of Europe. The company than expanded their business to south Italy. The market of Italy soon became competitive for France and Germany. Fiat gave a boost to its growth by introducing Robogate in the year 1978, which was a special robotic system that was manufactured for the assembling purposes. Further Fiat got hold of other famous brands like Lancia, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo and Maserati and generated Fiat Auto S.p.A. In the decade of 1990s, the automobile manufacturers from Asia captured the market of Europe. The company suffered crisis due to this situation.
