Introduction

Charles Sanders Pierce was born in Cambridge in 1839. His research was published in literary magazines, but was influenced by his teaching, attacking heavily logical and philosophical problems. For Pierce, all rational and investigative process only serves to establish beliefs, their thoughts are against any material or spiritual conception because according to him, science is probabilistic in nature.
