The Paramyxoviruses cause of respiratory system diseases specialy in children. These cause diseases which include croup, bronchiolititis and pneumonitis. They cause measles, mumps, parainfluenza and syncytial virus. Rubella is also a virus of this group. It causes mild disease with a rash but it is dangerous during early pregnancy. All these viruses have vaccinations which are taken in childhood.
