Richard Leonard Kuklinski , lived from April 11th 1935 to March 5th 2006. Richard Kuklinski was a convicted murderer and notorious murderer for hire. He worked for the Italian-American mafia. Among his victims there are about 200 people killed in 37 years. Between 1948 and 1985, Kuklinski became murderer of his first victim at 13 years of age. His older brother was arrested for raping and murdering a teenager of 12 years. Richard lived in the neighborhood of Dumont, New Jersey. Richard Kuklinski was listed as a mass murderer. This was because many of the crimes committed were due to their own accord or for the simple pleasure of killing. This was astonishing although the majority of his crimes were under contract (Bruno, 2008).

Richard Kuklinski was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. His parents were Stanley and Anna Kuklinski. Stanley was an alcoholic who beat his wife and children.

In 1940, his father was beaten to death by Richard Kuklinski's older brother, Florian. Richard began to torture animals for 10 years and he committed his first murder at age 13. The victim was Charley Lane, leader of a gang of thugs. He was killed with shots. Later, Richard hit to kill 6 members of the band.

After gaining a reputation as a bad guy, Richard had associated himself with Roy DeMeo. Roy DeMeo was part of a Gambino family member that was a local Italian mafia. They took care of some robberies and earned through a pirate pornography business. Although DeMeo was his mentor, Richard murdered him. During the next 30 years, Richard became a murderer to death; strangling, stabbing dozens of people.

In one of his stays at home, Richard received a call from Gravano. Gravano was one of the biggest mobsters Richard knew well. Richard was required for a special job. This was though the last big job. “Paul Castilian must die”, Gravano had assigned this job to Richard. He was a great man of the mob. Nevertheless, Paul was improper and had careless habits of hiding microphones throughout half of New York. (Bruno, 2008)

His father, an alcoholic, often used to beat him and his older brother was sentenced to life imprisonment after raping and murdering a 12 year old girl. During his teenage years, Kuklinski was delighted torturing animals. One of his hobbies was throwing live cats to the family oven. With 14 years cleared another boy his age to "protect their territory", as he would later report. It was his first murder. In 1960 Pedrin met Barbara, his wife, with whom he would have three daughters. His work in the film industry, which trafficked in pornography that resell to the Gambino family, introduced him to the mafia circles.
