Its mission is to be the first choice of consumers for daily living and health crosswise the country. It also wanted to become a major component of consumers' communities and the lives where they dwell and work. The company has currently appeared greatly in Atlanta and surrounding area. They have great prices and good variety of items. They are a smaller version of Wal-Mart.

Walgreens attains balance between culture, rewards, and the boundaries through a loyalty program provided by Walgreen Company. This program is also known “the program” or “balance rewards.” Customers participate in this program with an agreement on terms and conditions, policies, rules, regulations, and processes of the program accessible at Walgreens.com/Balance. The company holds full rights to alter terms and conditions of the program at any time. A U.S. resident at least 13 years old can participate in this program. The company has the right to reject issuance of Balance Rewards Card for consumers who do not follow proper procedure of enrollment. Through Balance Reward Card, that is also known as the “Card”, consumers can avail promotional and sale prices, receive points for balance rewards on some behaviors or purchases and exchange or trade in points on some prospective purchases. The company announces a number of offers and promotions that are available at different store locations. All the deals or promotions are not available at all the stores, at same time. Through this loyalty program, Walgreens maintains a corporate culture among its consumers and builds positive image and ultimately receive value from consumers in return.
