Action research comprises of individuals and foreign teams working together, in order to, address a particular problem or situation, as well as, enhance the way in which they address the problems and situations. in developing countries, the phenomenon of action research is not so very common, however, it is widely practiced in cities and developed regions. However, governments and local authorities are now looking into it, and therefore, they are now focusing the implementation of action research to develop better solution to the problems of sustainability (Zetter & Watson, 2006).
