This paper examines the conceptual factors that influence health of the population of Panama. This study analysis the overall health situation of the country, as well as encounter the infectious diseases and vector borne diseases. This paper discusses the conceptual factors of disease such as, poverty and child malnutrition. This also paper evaluates the current status of Panama and creates linkages between poverty and health.

The Republic of Panama is situated at the isthmus southeastern end, forming a bridge between South and North America. Panama occupies the area of about 75,517 sq. km. The capital of Republic of Panama is Panama City (430,299 sq. km). The people of Panama is known as Panamanian(s).
