Introduction

The Palestinian cause is a serious topic of debate in the political scenario of the world since years. The government organizations and worldwide movements for the purpose of peace and security have been working to come up with a solution that brings the Palestinian issues and region out of these problems. The MENA region is dealing with various issues related to the countries under its domain, and the Palestinian cause has kept its existence in the politics of MENA region. The paper is based on the discussion of the Palestinian cause from the core perspective of politics. There are insights of the Palestinian cause and the MENA region along with the variables involved in this debate. The paper has also presented the role that Palestinian cause has played in the politics of the MENA region.

Palestinian Cause

The Palestine cause since its initiation came up as international issues with the events that have roots form the end of the First World War. The occurrence of these events led to the decision of the League of Nations to take Palestine under the management of United Kingdom (Great Britain) as the mandatory power under the adopted league of the mandates system. In principle to the standard, the mandate was destined to exist in the nature of a temporary stage until Palestine achieved the position of a completely free nation, a position provisionally accepted in the League's Covenant, but in reality the Mandate's past evolution did not effect in the appearance and emergence of Palestine as an independent state. The choice and decision made on the Mandate did not consider the wishes of the individuals of Palestine, regardless of the Covenant's prerequisites that "the wishes of these groups must be a foremost thought in the determination of the Mandatory".
