The purpose of this paper is to compare two paintings, Composition A.XX. by László Moholy-Nagy and Guitar and Bottles by Amédée Ozenfant. Upon looking at the Moholy-Nagy A.XX, the first impression that an onlooker would probably get is that it is a simple painting in which the painter has drawn an abstract art by drawing four simple geometrical figures overlapping each other and using a modest color palette.
