Many people today are the victim of over eating and obesity. However, they are aware of the problem but they don't tackle the problem head on. This study tends to highlight the steps which an individual needs to take in order to overcome their eating disorder. Outlined below is the process most people will adopt to overcome the Eating Disorder.

The first step in coping up with any disorder is however taking the first step or accepting it as a problem. Once an individual accepts the problem it becomes rather easier to deal with it, or to cure it. First step will allow the individual to admit that he or she is facing the disorder and should take immediate action to cope up with it.

The second most important step is asking for help in order to be cured. Many people think that if they will ask for the help then people start judging them, thus they tend to feel embarrass. So, without feeling odd one should ask for help if they need it so that they are able to enjoy the life like others do. (Wagner, p.35).

The third step in recovering from an eating disorder is finding a specialist. Hospitals, college health centers, or even family doctors can help an individual find a specialist. When you find a specialist it is much easier cope up with the situation since an individual than tends to own it and accept. Things an individual feels shy to share with others he or she will share it with the specialist. If an individual opts to speak to a specialist, he or she needs to be specific about the information you are sharing with the specialist.
