Natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina and national disasters like the 9/11 attacks have a devastating psychological effect on victims and are the major cause of mental disorders like post-traumatic stress disorder.

Outline

The attack of 9/11 on the twin towers was an unprecedented event that shocked the world. Many innocent people died in the aftermath of the devastating attacks and many more were injured.
