We have been inquired to investigate the effect of osmosis on potato chips, and therefore the effect of osmosis in vegetation cells. My major aim is to work out whether osmosis happens in a potato and how it sways the potato in different molar answers of sucrose and distilled water. Iwill be experimenting with a potato, and will be utilising a variety of different concentrations of sucrose, and distilled water. By measuring the change in mass and extent of the potato cylinders I should also be adept to find the isotonic point. An isotonic issue is an issue where the mass does not boost or decrease from its initial mass. I should also experiment with at smallest 5 kinds of concentrations, to have adequate outcomes, and to glimpse if my prediction is correct I am going to use.
