On January 8, 2011, Gabrielle Giffords was holding a constituent meeting called “Congress on your Corner” when prosecutor Jared Lee shoot her in the head (Halloran, 2011). U.S. representative Gabrielle Gifford and eighteen other people were shot dead during a public meeting held in Arizona.
