1.1 Identify the purposes of different types of organisation.

In the world of organization, there exists variety of organization. This includes: government, corporations, non-governmental, armed forces, international corporations, not for profit, charity, universities, cooperatives and partnerships. It is to mention here that there are hybrid organization that works simultaneously in public and private sectors. Hybrid organizations used to fulfil duties regarding public and creation activities in commercial markets.

In business organizations, there is variety of organizations that is associated from different sectors of industry different sectors of business. However, there are two general types of businesses that exists in area of business sector and that is: public sector organization and private sector organization.

In private sector organization, it contain business that are privately owned by individuals, therefore, the profit of the organization directly goes to them which are individual owners of the business. In private sector there exists number of different businesses. There is one main aim of private sector organizations and that is related to the development of quality products or to provide extraordinary services to its customers. Generally their main objective in monetary terms is to raise profit by selling their product or by providing their services to customers. There are various examples of public sector organizations such as Tesco, Inmarsat and Target are good examples of public sector organizations.

Other type of organizations in business is public sector organizations. Public sector organization is referred to those organizations that are developed, operated and owned by government (Achterbergh & Vriens, 2010, pp. 50-60). It is to mention here that these types of organizations sometime provide the product or services to the customer at cost of the good or services.
