Introduction This assignment has focused on the organizational psychology. Organizational Psychology is actively developed nowadays and can help increase productivity in the company, to establish relationships with colleagues and subordinates to achieve high results in their careers. However, this paper will be defining the concept of organizational psychology and role of research and statistics in organizational psychology. In addition the uses of organizational psychology will also be identifying in the paper.

Discussion

The history of organizational psychology began in 1925 with the generalizations of the classical Hawthorne studies. These experiments, among other things, led to a fundamental conclusion: changes in productivity among workers cannot be explained by objective factors such as material conditions and a regime of labor. To understand the behavior of labor are important subjective factors such as morale, leadership style, interpersonal relationships of employees. In the 80 years of the twentieth century as a separate area of organizational psychology stood coaching. Organizational psychology or psychology of management is the section of psychology, the purpose of which is the practical application of psychological theories and research methods to the problems of organization, management and business. Ultimate goal of an organizational psychology is to increase productivity and job satisfaction in organizations.

The organizational psychology is concerned with conditions, processes and consequences of the actions of people in organizations with operational issues and institutional cooperation. The organizational psychology is thus a branch of applied psychology, in which one looks at the interaction of individuals and organization. Object of study is the experience of organizational psychology, behavior and actions of people in (corporate) organizations. In practice, the organization employs some of the areas of psychology group work, supervisor behavior or corporate communications.
