Introduction

In a context where there have been enormous impact transformations in technology, production practices and organizational methods dominate the global competitive landscape, and a total redefinition of the rules in the domestic economy, the Argentine companies are facing challenges and opportunities whose decision largely define the characteristics of the style of development that will take in the country on a long term.

The purpose of this paper is to describe the main features and consequences of changes in the environment in which they must navigate the local business strategies, with emphasis on the positioning of the group which constitutes various institutional and organizational factors that have a significant impact on the performance of organizations established in Britain and America.

Organizational Performance

The organization's performance is made visible through the activities undertaken to fulfil its mission. Production and its effects are the most noticeable aspects of organizational performance.

The ideas around the concept of performance vary considerably. Each interest group or stakeholder may have very different ideas about what is important. For example, administrators can define your organization's performance in terms of the amount of money brought in grants, while a donor can define performance in terms of the benefits that affect a target group assistant.

In our experience, very few organizations have performance data readily available. However, it is generally difficult to generate this information based on existing data or develop mechanisms for collecting performance data.

The organizational design is the art of organizing work and creates coordination mechanisms that facilitate the implementation of the strategy, process flow and the relationship between people and organization to achieve productivity and competitiveness

The challenge of organizational design is the construction of a structure and jobs, flexible, simple aligned with strategy, processes, culture and level of development of the organization, to achieve results and productivity through the organization of work and the proper distribution of workloads.

Organizations are continuously facing frequent changes in the current economic climate. These changes are necessary for the organization to become successful by competing. A changing marketplace, empowered workforce and technological advancements have created an environment where change is becoming 'business as usual.' In this environment, organizations are beginning to recognize the importance of building the competency rapidly (Gibb, 1998, p. 8).

Institutional and Organizational Factors

Task

A microscopic approach implemented in all workers and not the entire company, and mechanisms are because it involves a set of factors like time, selection of workers, application of methods that are rationally planned differently in each region, state or country.

Technology

The technological implementation in each organization is differently perceived, obtained and implemented. It is taken as an independent variable in the organizational structure that determines the management of business for the company. A company based in US may be not as much technological oriented as compared to a UK based company or vice versa. Therefore, it is upon the technological factor for a company to decide upon their effective management style.
