Introduction

Hot Seat is a short film that depicts and portrays culture of an office in a pretty funny manner; it talks about how some of the office culture is being maligned by this tendency of blaming each other for the misgivings and the troubles that are created in an office. It is a short film that is depicting its message in a very funny manner and thus it provides a pretty fair idea about the trends and the way things work in the office. The culture and the vicinity as it can be seen is marred with lot of trouble and things are carried out in a manner that is not representative that prevails in the offices.

Discussion

There are many issues that are being faced by this organization as far as the way operations are carried out in a manner that is not representative of the culture that prevails in the office. There are lot of things that can be seen here. The first thing uis that people are not really concerned about the activities that are performed by them and they are carrying with time wasting activities that are not really that productive. Another issue that is being seen is that there is lot distraction in this office (Van Schaik et al, 2003). There are not separate cabins for the individuals instead there are cubicles. There is not lot of problem with the way cubicles are being arranged but it is the way people in the cubicles are going about their work that must be taken care of. The seats and the overall office equipment is also not up to the mark and people are not really comfortable as far as there seating arrangement and other stuff is concerned.
