Organizational Development (OD) is the most frequently used by organizations seeking continuous improvement within a globalized, highly competitive and constantly evolving. In this way, organizations are forced to overcome the challenge of resistance to change and finding a balance between the objectives organizational and personal goals of those who shape it. Organizational Development is the discipline of seeing organizations and groups as systems and design systems and processes to improve productivity, effectiveness and results. Normally, OD is not considered as a function within organizational structure. This is because the internal personnel is very involved in the internal policies and processes and thus lose perspective.
