Organization Culture Can Never Be Changed

Culture is the set of forms, models or patterns, explicit or implicit, through which a society manifested. Organizational Culture comprises of language, customs, practices, codes, standards and rules of manner, dress, religion, rituals, and norms of behavior and belief systems. From another point of view, we can say that culture consist of the entire information and skills that humans possess. Once the culture established by the senior management, it is difficult to change, in order words, it cannot be change. The reason for this is that, employees who are working trends to follow the old procedures rather than adopting new one. There are many reasons for this, and the crucial one is change requires times. Senior executives may try to determine the corporate culture and its change. They may even wish to impose values and behavior standards that reflect the goals of the organization, however, is not a simple task that considered much less standard; it brings weight of history to the organization and the decisions that taken in the past. Organizational culture presents two very different aspects. The formal aspect, that is easily noticeable as the policies, methods, goals, organizational structure, etc, and the casual look, as perceptions, feelings, values, etc. these remain the same for-ever. Organizational culture has various components, which are the artifacts, these are the things you can see, hear and feel in an organizational group. Values adopted, which are important because they define the reasons why they do what they do and the basic assumptions, which is the innermost level of the organization, comprises the beliefs, perceptions, feelings, is the correct way of doing things. Diversity is a characteristic of the phenomenon of globalization also determines the culture. It understood as a basic human differences are the characteristics of each person as race, religion, sex, creed, etc. Therefore, it is important to take them into account in an organizational environment (Weick & Quinn, 1999).

The change in culture is one of the most difficult to achieve because it involves a profound transformation that impacts values, policies, behaviors and norms that define it. The change process encompasses all activities that aimed to help the organization to adopt new attitudes, new technologies and new ways of doing business.
