Title: Leadership Styles

During the period of change, the two leadership styles which can be implemented includepacesetting leadership style which is associated with facing the change and setting the pace for the employees in such a way that they are motivated to accomplish the goals and policies. Pace setting leaders are set high standards for others whom they are leading. They are known for leading by example. They are able to identify those who are unable to keep up the pace which is required. They do not expect anything from their followers until they practice it by themselves (Robbins, Coulter, 2007, p. 236). This leadership style also helps the employees to be familiar with the change and can adopt it easily by understanding the directions of the leader. Another leadership style which will be considered as affiliative leader who is considered as the one who develops relationships and positive bond with the team members.

Question 3.2

In the scenario above it is mentioned that the employee morale is very low. Maslow's theory has a great influence on the psychology of motivation at work in organizations. Accepting the hierarchical arrangement has led to the establishment in each case the level of motivation of the members of the organization to meet the needs of the most basic level are still unmet. The satisfaction of the basic needs necessary to change traditional organizational strategy to meet the higher needs of self-esteem and self-actualization. This will help in increasing the employee morale (George, Jones, 2002, p. 232).
