Introduction

In this paper, there is the discussion about three articles on different topics of organizational behavior such as Learning styles, Cultural Diversity and Perception in the Workplace. This paper represents the summary of the articles and description of these topics and, relation with the article and summary. All the topics are about the organizational behavior and, it is noticed that, through many years, organizational behavior theories have been researched and noticed and, these theories have helped in making organizational behavior. System has been improved time to time, to make improvement in employees' progress and, overall result is good performance, and outcomes for organizations.

Discussion

Cultural Diversity

The first article is about the cultural diversity and, in this article; author has described his personal experiences about the cultural diversity in organizations. He has chosen three aspects of cultural diversity by first choosing the pre dominant culture of Aimco, and appreciated the work of Lamont and Lareau (1988). He also noticed that, employees of the organization were unaware of the informal culture and, he has chosen class as the second theme of his research work. The third area chosen by the author is gender and, highlights the importance of gender in the organization. He had researched the cultural diversity factors in the aimco and, noticed the cultural behaviors in the organization. His first paper was about the inequality of the work, second paper reflected the cultural capital theory in relation with racial inequality and, the third paper highlighted the organization as the club of the boys and, differences of work for men and women. These three papers highlighted the gender issues and, capitalism theory in the particular organization and, it was found that dominant culture of the organization favored boys.

Author has clearly highlighted the cultural diversity issues and, racial inequality in the article. We have noticed that, women have not been given importance in any field especially in the workforce. The history has shown that, there was no major role of women in any professional competencies and, this was because women had not given appropriate chances to prove their leaderships. Women always played a secondary role in the society and, women had no dominance in the society. The only role found for women in the past, was to up raise the children and, cook for husband. Women wanted to stand on their own feet and, their desires had made them to take decisions to join men in the work force. It is also found that, minorities are also not giving equal importance at their workplace as compared to the majority. In United States, Hispanics and African Americans have no such importance at their workplaces and, they have to work more than the White population. It is also observed that, Blacks and Hispanics are not in the top management and, senior management do not consider their efforts.
