Introduction

Organizational behavior is the study and application of knowledge about how people behave individually and in groups in organizations. It also seeks to identify ways in which individuals can act more effectively. Organizational behavior helps entrepreneurs observe the behavior of individuals in the organization and facilitates the understanding of the complexity of the interpersonal relationships in which people interact. To systematically examine the behavior of people in different situations, to achieve this goal leads to managers to manage their businesses to have a flow of communication in everyday language about human behavior at work. It understands why people behave a certain way. It would not be appropriate for those charged with the administration talk about the behavior of their employees without understanding the causes:

Predict, i.e. see what will happen in the future with the behavior of entrepreneurs. It must acquire the ability to predict which employees are qualified, productive and dedicated to their work and which are characterized by absenteeism, delays or negative behaviors in the workplace, in order to find preventive solutions.

Control the activities of individuals within the work to develop the goals set and achieve goals, monitor also teamwork, productivity.

It is important that employers keep in mind that organizational behavior is a human tool used for the benefit of humans (Clawson, 2009).

Key Factors of Organizational Behavior

There is a set of forces that affect business; they can be classified into four areas: people, structure, technology and environment in which business operates.

People

In a company people are part of the internal social system, which is made ??up of individuals and groups both large and small. There are informal or unofficial groups, as well as formal and official.

Human groups are dynamic because they are formed, change and decay, the people are living, thinking and feelings, working in a company or organization to achieve its objectives. Remember that businesses and organizations exist to serve people, instead of people exist to serve organizations.

Today's workforce is very diverse, which means that workers have a wide range of educational backgrounds talents and goals. Thus employers must be prepared for situations where some people want to impose their own will and way of working, forgetting their commitment to the company or objectives thereof.

Structure

Define the formal relationship of the functions of the people and business organizations. They require different jobs to perform all activities of the company. In a company everyone must be related in a structured manner so that their work is coordinated effectively, in the absence of a structure such relationships can lead to serious problems of cooperation, negotiation and decision making.

Technology

The technology provides the resources with which people work and influences the work done by them, with their help you build buildings, machines are designed, and they create work processes. The technology also significantly affects labor relations, whereas workers at a brick factory are not related in the same way as a restaurant.
