1) Alternative

Pros: Global team work is an advantage in competition for the global age if implemented effectively, and knowledge is a source of competitive advantage that can help the organizations to improve on the domains of effective team work. The likelihood of success of team work can be improved by utilizing the knowledge management practices.

Cons: Global team management requires strong ties within an organization and group. In virtual teams, the ties are weak and this is a disadvantage for knowledge integration. Weak ties also cause asymmetric knowledge inside the organizations. Each country possesses different cultural factor for its business practices that arise to expand its operations abroad. There may be several cultural barriers while conducting business practices inside an organization. Each employee of an organization own separate personality, governed by a diversified frame of mind.
