Introduction to the Paper

This paper is formulated to understand the phenomenon of Information System in business environment. To formulate this paper, I am supposed to chosen an organization and consider its business operation values in context to the Information System. The business, which I have chosen is an online gaming exchange website for the gamers.

The I.T. Industry is growing at a rapid pace, with the advent of 21st century and the internet, the significant boost in the technological environment has also raised various new challenges and demands in I.T. Industry. Games are also a vast unit within I.T industry, and every there is some game got launch. Various Games manufacturers are operating in Far-East Asia and North America (Reports, A.K. 2004. Pp. n.d.). The significant boost in the gaming world also increased the demands of the gamers in terms of the gaming gadgets and other gaming equipment. Since these gadgets are expensive, thus, most gamers prefer to have them used. Especially the gaming discs, which gamers usually sell once finishing the game. And other gamers purchase it, which have not yet played this particular game (Harris, K. 2001. Pp. 18). This provided them with the benefit of extremely low cost as compare to the new purchase.

This online business would provide gamers with the opportunity to exchange their gaming discs and other gaming gears. This is considerably one of the unique portals for gaming gears interchange.

Introduction to Information System (IS)

An information system (IS) is composed of human actions and information technology that holds up the processes of decision making and administration.
