Introduction

If one exchanges with representatives of the major storage vendors, one sees himself against various philosophies. One advertises a one-stop-shopping; others raise mutatis mutandis out the "one size fits all." Of course it sounds useful if the large as well as smaller memory with the same file system and work in a compatibility and scalability across all systems arises. Especially EMC is accused of it was purchased, and much work the individual product lines, not with each other. This is certainly often adversely.
