Introduction

Oedipus and Creon put forth comparable attributes as pioneers that eventually effect in their characterization as deplorable heroes. Their tyrannical determination, steady pride, uncontrollable destiny, and huge grievances all depict the inescapable result. Sophocles composes that the characters in the plays are chastising not as a result of something they had done in the past yet simply it is their destiny. Oedipus and Creon cannot stop their destiny regardless of what extraordinary lengths they head off to (Shmoop Editorial Team, 2008).
