Introduction

Obesity has now become a most common problem in developed world. With the passage of time obesity has also increasing the number of affected person. Obesity has been spreading over the population, individuals from various ages, and other sub categorization. The risk of health issue increases with individual's life. In this paper discussing about the obesity is not just a problem for individual but also social, cultural, environmental and the health services. Obesity is globally a problem for public health and become a paradox for the population of several countries.

Discussion

Being overweight or obese means that conditions in which the person's body possesses the excessive fats which is not actually the requirement of the human body. And such excessive fats adversely affect the human health, increases health problem and reduces the expectancy of life (Abbott, 2010). In this century the most common causes for obesity are: the cheap prices of high calories food such as junk or fast food, changing modes of transportation, life style and urbanization increases gradually than obesity has also increased very rapidly from last fewer decades not only some countries but all around the world (Drewnowski, 2009).

Obesity Threats for Individual, Economy, Environment, Culture and Health Services

Obesity does not only affect person's personality but also affect the health of a person. There are multiple health related problems associated with the obesity and the reason behind these problems could be one, that is obesity. Obesity is very dangerous for human life as it increases the chances to die prematurely, and also hazardous for the health which cannot be considered only a problem of cosmetic. Obesity includes some of the serious diseases which affect the human health badly such as high blood pressure, cancer, gallbladder disease, diabetes, stroke, and heart disease, Osteoarthritis, breathing problems and asthma and some other diseases as well.

Obesity has turn out to be a contagion in our over indulgent in our society. Not only body image problems but obesity is more seriously concern with the health issues and diseases in society. Not affecting only an individual but most of the societies affected by the obesity and now it has become a societal problem (Drewnowski, 2009).
