The study has been conducted with regards to obesity which is increasing and more focus has been laid on the breast fed babies who are at lower risk of obesity in adult life. This means that the mothers should breast feed their babies rather than opting for the other methods of feeding them. This has been the question of the study and the method of research that has been used in the study is secondary data. Online websites and journals have been used as the main source of information with regards the question of the study. It has been revealed by the findings that the babies who are breast fed by their mothers are at lower risk to face the issue of obesity. This is important because obesity persisting in the world is increasing and is also leading to many negative consequences.

Although many countries worldwide are encountering the issue of obesity, however, the problem is mounting in the United Kingdom more than the other countries. A unit is used to measure the energy of food that is consumed by the body in order to maintain the normal functions of the body.
