Recent professional experience

It is reported that almost each and every doctor working has witnessed at least one of the adverse happening in his service life with any of the serious patient. There are some serious patients who are hard to manage and thus require a special medical treatment.

This event happened with a serious patient Sylvia who was being treated on doxycycline and was concluded to become suicidal. She was facing a real dilemma in the field of mental health. She was facing problems in her work field as well as in her daily home routine and was unable to express her difficulties to anyone. This is the reason why she became highly depressed and was on the way to commit suicide.

She was admitted in the hospital and was given proper treatment. But due to her aggressive nature and volatile instincts which she has just developed was making her a difficult patient to be treated. One day a doctor came to take her vitals. She acted pretty normal and everything was going smoothly but things changed when the doctor asked her about her family and her relationship with them (Reiss & Dombeck, 2013). She became aggressive and started to make weird noises.

She refused to take any of the medication and started to throw things on the other patients who were being treated in the same room. She was becoming hard to control by only a doctor and a nurse. The patients in that room started to feel real scared and helpless at the same time as they were not having anything to save themselves.
