This article illustrates that the information provided to patients and their families in their relation to health, from the standpoint of medical and nursing care, is of great Importance, usually during hospitalization, especially during admission in the Unit Intensive care (ICU). One of the main needs of the family receiving information is adequate. Usually information is conceived not as medical and nursing. In my opinion, the two are complementary, not exclusive, so it is essential that proper nursing communication be involved in patient care. It illustrates the various ways of improving nursing communication with patients. It is the strength of the article that it has author Email ID so readers can send their queries to author. However, the article does not have preview which is the weakness of the article. The article also offers effective techniques or methods which actually enhance the communication between nurses and patients.

Fleischer, S., Berg, A., Zimmermann, M., Kathleen Wüste, & Behrens, J. (2009). Nurse-patient interaction and communication: A systematic literature review. Zeitschrift Für Gesundheitswissenschaften, vol. 17(5), pp. 339-353. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/s10389-008-0238-1.

According to Fleischer, et.al, (2009), described the importance of patient-nurse communication. In this regards, the authors presented their thoughts through an empirical research and integrative literature, which helped them find evidence related to nurse-patient relationship. The findings related to the integrative literature represented that interaction and communication between the nurse and patient influences the health status of the patient and offers the course of the patients well being. Moreover, the research recognized the factors of structural communication such as the allocation of role, diverse use of registers and language, and setting towards nursing care. The procedure of interaction and communication between the nurse and patient is frequently illustrated with a phase model, as interaction between the two usually occurs various tasks and interventions performed by the nursing staff. The strength of the article includes effective use of languages to enhance the nurse-patient communication and identifying the impact of communication on health. The weakness includes limited research on the underlying topic. There is a big need to conduct in-depth analysis on relationship between communication and health.

The research also indicated that communication skills could be uplifted to a certain extent, as it requires the involvement of the patient. Moreover, the nurse patient relationship accommodates communication as it is based on care practice. In conclusion to these thoughts presented by the authors I personally belief that the communication between nurse and patients require more research, which should be accommodated by nursing science in order to help develop better care services.
