Introduction

Factors that influence the health and well-being of individuals are classified into three different types including social, physical and psychological. However, the extent of influence of these three factors varies from person to person, community to the community, and situation to situation. Thus, it is crucial for the healthcare professionals to properly diagnose every patient suffering with depression so that nothing goes bad. There are several factors that lead to depression, which can be classified into three different types (i.e. social, physical and psychological) each factor deal with a different aspect of influence thus would be discussed in brief as to obtain the degree to which every factor influence the health and well being of older adults (Williamson, Shaffer, and Parmelee 2009, pp. 2-61). Thus, this study will individually review each factor and their aspects that influence the health and well-being of the people.

Older People Are Cared For In Nursing Homes

On the one hand, there are reasons to argue against an accommodation for older people in nursing homes. This is because due to the shortage of nurses in nursing homes, many older people are in a ruinous state. It could be taken, as they do not get the appropriate care they deserve because of their co-payments actually. Alternatively, will they, despite their high level of care, as well as maintained at a lower level of care. In the nursing shortage, especially the nursing home residents suffer with stage three. A typical example is the storage of these patients. A seriously ill man who was placed on top with intact skin in the nursing home is, after several months with penetrating wounds and sent on to the hospital because he has not been relocated regularly in bed. Because of poor circulation and the selective pressure at the points where the skin and bones rub together, he is now injured and suffering from bedsores. This is an extreme example, in some institutions but not common (Chogahara, 2008, pp. 1-7).
