Norm Violation Assignment

Introduction

Behaviour of individuals in a society is influenced by the considerations of those around them (Wang, 2011). An individual's behavior and acts are more or less a reflection of what the people or groups around him or her consider to be appropriate and inappropriate (Hechter & Dieter, 2001). Social norms or rules refer to those unspoken rules by the society which implies those acts and behavior that are considered as appropriate by the society (Sanderson, 2010). The responses of the people around and the feelings of the self regarding the act were analyzed and are quoted in this paper.
