The paper analyzes the IS application in a non-business sector i.e., training and education ERP systems. The paper also discusses many aspects and benefits of implementing ERP systems in today's education environment.

Introduction

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an important tool for various enterprises and organizations supporting and managing business and making decision. The technology foundation of ERP is based on information techniques. The theory base includes application management theory, system theory, mathematic, computer science and information science. ERP is the information system which combines with advanced management thoughts, methods and instruments. Only if modern management theories and methods integrate into ERP, it can play an important role in management and help enterprises make decisions. In this paper, we are focusing on the training and education of ERP systems. Main focus is on the problems that lie in the teaching of ERP systems.

ERP systems are occasionally called back office (back office) and indicating that the client and the general public are not directly involved. This system is, in contrast to the open data system (front office), which creates an administrative relationship of the consumer or customer service (CRM), a system that deals directly with customers, or the eBusiness systems such as electronic commerce, electronic administration, electronic communications and e-finance, and also as a system that deals directly with suppliers, establishing not only an administrative relationship with them (SRM).

The ERP is working extensively in all kinds of modern business. All functional departments that are involved in the operation or production are integrated into one system. In addition to the manufacture or production, storage, logistics and information technology, also include the accounting, and typically include a system of Human Resource Management, and tools of marketing and strategic management.

The distinguishing features of any other ERP enterprise software, is that systems must be integrated with modular and adaptable:

Comprehensive: because different processes can control the company with the understanding that all departments of a company are interrelated, i.e. the result of a process is about to start the next. For example, in a company, a customer placing an order is to create a sales order triggers the production process, inventory control, planning, product distribution, collection, and of course their accounting transactions.
