Christian World View

The Christian world view suggests for “any ideology, philosophy, theology, movement or religion that provides an overarching approach to understanding God, the world and man's relations to God and the world," . in other words the man understands that his basic duty is to serve and act for the love of God. Every individual in this world has some sort of beliefs and world view that guides his actions, decision and emotions and affects every aspect of his life from philosophy and science to law and politics. The current dilemma with majority of the people is that they though they know what is right and wrong but exposure to media, self centered emotions and longing for worldly pleasures and luxuries has made them short sighted to understand the real benefits of Christian world view. The competition and challenges of the practical life are far too much to deal with and cannot be resolved with Christian world view as it asks for compromises, sacrifices, being truthful to oneself and others without any type of mis commitments or deception which is just not possible in the current American culture where majority of the business thrive of marketing gimmicks and promotional gigs that promote false beliefs and fake ideas in front of the customers simply for the sake of increasing their sales and profitability. Many nonprofit organizations in the current scenario suggest and incorporate the Christian world view in their mission and vision but fail to implement it in practical settings. For instance majority of the ministries nowadays force their workers to work long hours which may result in poor work life balance, negative effects on the health of the workers and broken marriages. Some of the major benefits of leading a nonprofit organization on the basis of Christian world view are that there is improved job satisfaction on the part of employees as it promotes justice and equality thus resulting in improved motivation, hard work and commitment to meet organization objectives. If we truly understand the basic of Christian world view that it presents us with a complete framework for the fields of education, business, law and science. A genuine nonprofit organization promotes transparency and transforms every worker into a leader so that they are able to use the god gifted talent in the best possible manner. If nonprofit organizations are built on the basis of true Christian world view then it will ultimately succeed in the long run (Tackett).
