Abstract
The report highlights the system analysis and design of the Next Generation - 911. The NG- 911 infrastructure was invented to replace the current emergency management services over time. This need was first identified by National Emergency Number Association in 2000 and the development was started in 2003. Planning for NG- 911 had a printed version in NENA's Future Path Plan published in 2001. Communal security communications professionals identified that the current systems were not that effective as they should be in reality. Therefore they planned to establish a system that would help the nation in catastrophic and other devastating situations. This project was aimed at ultimate establishment of the national architecture that would help the officials to meet the goals and to develop a transition plan that would help in supporting the project. The blueprint for implementation and planning of these abilities were updated in a report form. This system will allow the people to make a call from any of the phone wired or wireless, IP based mechanism this allows emergency service department to take precautionary measures against any of the problematic situations. Therefore, the major goal of this path plan was to create nationwide principles and execution strategy in order to provide sophisticated 9-1-1 services and systems.
Next Generation 911
Introduction
Next Generation 911 also abbreviated as NG-911 has a link with the plan that looks forwards to upgrade the 9-1-1 service that is based on looking after the entire setup in USA and also in Canada to enhance the communication related to emergency services of public in the society which does not have anything to do with the wires. When a call is made on 911 from the phone will help the caller to send and receive text messages, video, images and data to the call centre 911. This particular facility is known as Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). This project even envisages added situations related to crisis data transfer and communications. The NG- 911 infrastructure was invented to replace the current emergency management services over time. This need was first identified by National Emergency Number Association in 2000 and the development was started in 2003. The aim of this path plan was to establish a set of national standards, along with the plans for the implementation of those national standards for fulfilling the requirements of the new and advanced next generation 911 system and services. However, the professionals working for the communal security system have identified a set of deficiencies present in the current communication system. Therefore they planned to establish a system that would help the nation in catastrophic and other devastating situations.
