Abstract
The aim of this paper was to analyse the news framing of the U.S Iraq and Afghanistan war. The role of media has been a very crucial and controversial throughout the history. Media plays very significant role in making the perception of people regarding anything. Particularly regarding the news farming of Afghanistan and Iraq war, the international media played a significant role in presenting and manipulating the facts. This paper is aimed at analyzing the news war on the international media: the news framing of the Afghan and Iraqi War in US, Europe, and Latin America. This dissertation will be using qualitative research approach in analyzing the phenomenon of news war on the international media: the news framing of the Afghan and Iraqi War in US, Europe, and Latin America. Since the nature of this research was descriptive, therefore it employed the secondary analysis and primary survey to better understand the news framing by media. A sample size of 50 journalists was selected who were made to fill out the questionnaire online. On the other hand, secondary research analysis was used to form the ground analysis that helped in developing the questionnaire. It was found that The Media has used the means that manipulated the sentiments of the public. Such means included the use of fake photographs and the manipulative articles. The international media created hype by false reporting and misrepresentation of the facts. The role of international media was disturbing in spreading propaganda about the Afghanistan and Iraqi government. The information about the war was not presented with an objective point of view. Every medium had their own understanding and their own vision of the world, and it affects the issue of necessity. Media, be it a large corporation or small, does not have the resources to inform about the truth. Western culture has created the idea that the U.S. is one example of the god of the media which must not be to defy.
