Introduction

What makes a thing, material, or substance perfect is not its final shape or condition, but the constituents that play a pivotal role in developing and formulating that final shape. The beauty of the perfection lies in the perfection of the components or constituents of the substance; if even one constituent or component is not properly placed or is imperfect than the final, perfect condition and outcome can not be achieved. Sam e is the case with the language. They beauty of a language lies in its incessant and optimal flow; and even if one factor lacks the perfection, the language loses it essence and charm.

Grammar

One of the most essential components of the English language is grammar, and its significance in the smooth assembly of the sentences cannot be denied. Interestingly, in schools, grammar is not a separate component of the curriculum; however, the scenario is a little different when it comes to the English as a Foreign Language and ESL classes. In such classes, the curriculum brings and teaches grammar as a separate and discrete component. The teachers involved in such classes devise numerous exercises and practices, which may inculcate the right sense of the grammatical imperatives and its proper usage in the sentence. These exercises enable students to analyses and learn the right forms of verbs and other pivotal factors of the grammar. Moreover, the teachers of such classes translate the practices, and other learning exercises to the native languages of the students, so that they may get a stronger hold of the concepts and the learning imperatives of the grammar of the English language.

Mainly, these exercises and practices, assist students in two broader spectrums; one is the when it intends on enhancing the recognition of the time adverbials and tense oriented auxiliaries, and other similar factors. Second when, the teacher intends to inculcate the proper sense and usage of grammar with respect to the context, and enable the student to be adept at the prompt and appropriate usage of grammar in the conversations (BOWER, 2011).

Interestingly, the domains that the teacher employs for teaching and learning are rather distinct with respect to the domain of writing and the respective domain of grammar. The concept or thought of separation is revered with the fact that once the student is adept at the primary and pivotal factors of the grammar, via the exposure to L2, the art or skills of writing will be rather easy to acquire, because in this domain, grammar acts as the foundation and basis of the correct English writing.
