Introduction

a. My project will focus on new employee orientation and training. I plan to conduct a training needs assessment survey given to 15 people to help clarify the understandings they may have of new employee training. This will also help in understanding that what the employees think should be included in the training and orientation of the new employee in an organization. This will also bring out the importance of employee orientation and training when he or she is new in the company.

The orientation of new employees in the company is one of the most important things that need to be done when an employee comes in the company. This report will look into how a training and orientation can be provided to the new employees of the company.

a. Needs Assessment Instrument: Online 10 question feedback survey This method was chosen based on the level of need of each person. This survey represents a person analysis in which the survey results will allow me to determine where training is needed on each individual. This information can be used in determining that what needs to be included in the employee orientation session and training of the new employees. Moreover, it can also help in understanding that what the new employees are expecting to be included in the session. Not only the new employees, but also the employees that are currently working for the company to get their view on the orientation and training process of the new employees will fill questionnaires.

Training Selection

The method of learning for the new employee orientation and training will be lecture based.
