Introduction

Negotiating culture in USA relies on an individual, or a body of individuals, to make decisions on behalf of the citizenry and representative group. In its purest form, Negotiating culture in USA would have all citizens developing, debating, and deciding all issues of importance. In the modern sense, negotiating culture in the United States and other modern democracies is limited to only a few of the issues and questions facing society at a given time; most governmental activity negotiation is conducted by the representatives elected by the citizens. For a better relationship with other cultures, it is necessary to understand what concepts are important to each group and why.
