People need security, protection, and justice from criminal justice professionals. Meeting the needs of people, make this professional highly rewarding and give professionals as well citizens as feel of pride, integrity, honor, and character. Owing to this fact, the functions of criminal justice system does not remain limited to arresting, prosecuting, and punishing criminals.

Criminal justice professionals, as a whole, have greater purpose to fulfill that people expect from them. They expect justice, security, and correctional system which should not be marked with biasness or discrimination.

Common people need a rapid justice from the criminal justice system and judges, persecutors, and defense authorities are the criminal justice professional who have to meet these needs. Many professionals do efforts to make the overall operation of the system smoother (Hart, 2002). In return, these returns uplift the court congestion and allow more criminal cases to move through the system, without violation of the Sixth Amendment Right. It allows professionals to work upon a case without the chances of being pushed to rush in a reasonable time.

Safe environment within the courtrooms is another need of individuals who either come to face their charges or to defend them (UNICEF, 2012). Owing to this fact, it is the responsibly of criminal justice professionals to protect every person with the protections under the U.S constitution along with examining the given facts of the case.
