Introduction

It is a well known fact that due to global warming the climate of the earth is changing to unexpected level of human mind which is now promptly asking questions to them that what is needed to be done to minimize the destruction caused due to climate change

In Australia which is the canter of the climatic change especially its gold cost areas the people are forced to ask question of what is to be done and how it is to be done. For the past ten years the people of Gold cost areas have witnessed terrible destruction due to climatic change so for them there is no time for developing policies and methods now its action time because the lives of the peoples are in complete danger(Barun, S, Horton, S and Gleeson, B, 2009).

Gold coast region of Australia can face following climatic threats like, increase in seal levels, the intensity of storm and cyclone could be increase, threat of earthquake has increased, increased in the level of sea and change in climate under the sea poses a great threat to marine life. Impact could be damage of roads, electricity damage, water and sewerage problem, destruction of houses,

This climatic change will result in heavy rainfall, thunderstorm which could result in floods which could cause in damage of property at high level

Storm

Destruction off building, poles, roads, damage of water and electric supply, damage of communication network , cost of precious human lives, for future there is a chance of extreme destruction at all level

Due to climatic change their would be increase in temperature resulting in heavy and frequent storm which makes its category very high

Heatwaves

Extreme threat to people and animal health and cause damage to Infrastructure, in future humidity will increase and more lives will be lost

Due to constant climate change it category is extremely high as the humidity will increase, causes more threat to lives of species and destruction of infrastructure.

Erosion

Shortage of water as well as quality will be effected, major chances of increasing stomach related diseases

It is of high category as during the change the soil will decrease impacting the quality of water.

The above table shows the physical impact of several climatic changes on the built environment and on infrastructure and there impact will become worse in future so it require proper strategy for future. The strategy that could be adapted by the Gold cost region will be as follows.

Change in climate condition and disasters resulted from it required urgent attention of all the key stakeholders of the country to minimize the destruction for future disasters, the key stakeholders that are included in this consultation process include, Australian Government, Gold cost city council, construction department, individual education, insurance industry.
