Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) also work under the US Department of Labour (DOL), this organization is responsible to make the Mine Safety and Health Act o 1977being implemented to every organization involved in the business of mining. The laws of this act apply to all companies involved in mineral processing and mines. Laws regarding the non-union industries as laid down in FLSA (Fair Labours Standards Act) are concerned to the young worker's employment (workers having less than 18 years of age).
