Narrative Story

It was this morning when Dave woke up and did not find his son in the bed. He was sure about what must have happened to him, and sat back knowing he will be back. He once again cursed himself for not being able to control his anger, and get into a fight with his wife last night. He knew he shouldn't have slapped her.

It has been 10 years that James in his conscience has been seeing his parents fight. He is 20 now, and the last 10 years have not been perfect for him. Unlike other families who are content in their life, Dave and his wife were never able to give a good healthy life to James. It all started off after 5 years of their marriage, but James could only sense what is going on after he got to the age of 10. The couple had no particular reason, or a specific issue to quarrel on, but they still somehow managed to fight on a daily basis from the last 15 years. The time which they were supposed to give to their child was most spent fighting, and blaming each other.

James grew up in this situation, seeing his parents fight all the time and not giving any sort of attention to him ever. It was 2 years now that he didn't go to school, and has been spending that time somewhere else. He had lost all his friends, and there was no one to understand the misery he was stuck in. The fact that he had no siblings further added to his pain, and his never ending problems.
