My Life

Introduction

The title of this assignment is “My Life”. My life has been very ordinary yet full of extraordinary moments that have always been a part of my memory. Throughout my life I came across a diverse range of experiences that taught me how to deal with life. There have been places in my life where I felt like a little kid, yearning for something or the other. In other instances, life taught me to be brave and face every situation boldly and courageously. Hence, the story of my life has always been full of surprises. I lived each day as it came, realizing that nothing is impossible to achieve in one's life. Although every experience may not have been a memorable one, it served the purpose of teaching me important lessons about my life. I will discuss some of the adult development theories used in class as well as its application according to how I lived my life so far. Please join me on this journey as I go back in time; meet me in my present times and look ahead with me into my own future.

Thesis Statement

My life had been a mixture of personal and professional learning, where each day taught me new lessons about my own self.

Body

I belong to Detroit, the largest city in the U.S. state of Michigan, and the seat of Wayne County. It is the eighteenth most populous city of the United States that provides many opportunities for its citizens at large. It is one of the most popular hubs of commerce and trade; that results in great contribution to the economy. I liked the city and lived quite peacefully there. It was my own city that gave me many valuable moments to cherish as I grow old. I had one of the ideal families. They are caring, loving and fun to be with. I was raised in a big family with many inmates living together at the same time. My parents have always been very helpful and supportive towards all their children, especially to me. We all are religious people, and going to church is a frequent practice in my family.
