Performance Appraisal

The roles and responsibilities I fulfilled as the head of Administration and Finance Dept. encompassed a lot of activities. I was responsible for managing a staff working in multiple disciplines in the Music School. The staff was from departments such as the HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, Admission, Facility, reception, and Library. These were eight in total, plus one more trainee. I served in the music school as a School principle and handled major administration and finance affairs of the school.

Management

Serving a well rounded portfolio of responsibilities. I also had to manage the school's human resource. My team members and I, took care of admission job, under my supervision for a year. I was able to achieve most of the objectives I had set myself. Further, I also present some of the activities I conducted for the school in a professional capacity and managed the school admission system. Some of the major overhauls I made included:

Creating a Student database

Create new application and file system

Answering and emailing students & their respective parents

Help the music department heads in updating timetables, send audition results, send acceptance and non acceptance letter in Arabic & English

Follow up on student attendance

I recruited a Temp employee

I hired national trainee

I was able to develop and manage a pertinent HR strategy to ensure that the workforce enables the organization to effectively and efficiently achieve its goals. I created some of the critical success factors. These included primarily formulating, submitting and receiving approval for 5-year manpower plan. Further I managed the recruitment and selection procedure to ensure that the most suitable candidates were hired.
