My First Fight

Introduction

My name is Wei Chen, There are many firsts in one's life, there are many things that went through one's memory and one cannot get them off their head. My schooling was typical of any Chinese school at that time and I was an average Chinese Kid. The thing with Chinese kids is that they always consider people from Japan to be different and due to it, there is always lot of tension among these people. The school in which I was studying was called Tiantai Elementary School.

The situation was such at that time, there were lot of exchange programs among schools. The thing that was in mind with these exchange programs was that even though these exchange programs were carried out to make sure that there is some sense of friendship among the children of these two countries. But with the passage of time, it was seen that these programs were not really successful in achieving what they want. Students from both schools have most probably heard that there was this strong sense of animosity and hatred among these two countries and by starting a simple exchange program, this difference was not curtailed. It was seen that most of the times,

Discussion

There was this Japanese student at that time that was named Takuya. He was really brash and he was always talking about how Japanese are different among some of the other people. Slam dunk is a legendary series. There are many things that can be liked at about this series and one of them is that it always makes sure that there is an argument about it. The nature and the creativity of the cartoon is such that it is bound to diverse and divide people and their opinion. IT has also been source of many arguments among kids and it has been cited as one of the reasons for the suspect animosity between people of Japan and China. The people from Asia are rare breed, despite being together for centuries; they have not been able to dilute their differences. One of the arguments that turned ugly and I was the part of it turned real ugly and it had to be controlled.
