Introduction

This case refers to Andy Water's who is the manager of many high profile groups while working in the music and entertainment industry. His working experience of 30 years has made him quite popular in the music industry. He has been happily married for more than 20 years and facing many issues and allegations being raised through social media networks.

Andy found a blog on a social media internet website “RocknRollersblogger.com” where a viral was being stated against his fame in the music industry. An anonymous blogger stated a threat to Andy for his long-term survival in the music business. Andy reported his query to the DVC ltd (owns Rocknrollersblogger.com) for stripping off the blog down but no further action was taken. Further Andy received a tweet from Franklin Jones who is an artist that Andy formerly represented him. Franklin thought that several years ago at his difficult time in his music career Andy has abandoned his future. However, this leads Franklin to torture Andy through social media by pixilation of a photo of Andy with his nephew to make them appear as in swimming trunks on the facebook page. Andy thinks that the main culprit behind all the claims of internet blogging is Franklin so Andy has been worried and thought of publishing a detailed article to the Media group where according to the media laws a legal step could be taken against all the viral activities.

In this case Franklin is the Slanderer who is defaming Andy through an edited picture of Andy and his nephew.

One of the actions that Andy can take is by reporting to the DVC ltd for taking down the blog for exploiting inappropriate content over the internet as defamation.
