Motivational Factors Among Emirati Women Entrepreneurs In The UAE
Introduction
There is a notion that the entrepreneurs are the most energetic and has zealous powers, which are actually fuelling the economic growth of the country. The notion is proved to be a real and a true fact that the country's economic growth is being fuelled by the zealous and enthusiastic entrepreneurs. The proved can be a finding from the fact that there has been a very obvious change from the large government-owned multinationals to SME's. However, the true measure of a country's economic progress and success depends on its ability to capitalize on its natural endowment to achieve its economic goals.
It can be said that the contribution of women entrepreneurs to the economic growth has very vital role in the country, and there are many reasons for which they are not appreciated and recognized. In the countries which are in developing states are however heavily dependent on the SME's, which are known to a very pivotal elements of the economy as well as the country. It is also very important for the social development, and the stability of the country and citizens household incomes. Therefore, the policy makers of the country and the government officials in the world are trying to accelerate the role of female entrepreneurs as one of the main factors which are lending their hand in the boosting of the economic development.
Female entrepreneur in the Middle East, particularly in UAE, women are found very eager to show willingness towards working, it does not makes a different whether they go for the self employed as in creating the new business ventures, or working as an employee in any organization. According to the recent studies conducted by the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration, females are more seemingly willing comparing to the male gender, it has been seen that they are more persuading than males, and are more aligned to tackle the challenging work. However, the women in the GCC countries tend to be very active in playing their role in the team, and able to manager very well in the social role of the society (Delaney, 2010).
The role of women in the GCC countries is apparently increasing with the very strong pace, however, females who are indulged in the business they are enjoying at much than the males, as to work for their own lives and achievements. Nevertheless, according to the study conducted in the MENA regions, it has been claimed that 80% of the women entrepreneurs in the UAE regions, are actually looking some creative ways for themselves and for their business to be expanded and also look our for various imitative and unique way to enhance the creation of jobs and opportunities for the unemployed in many way (Chamlou, 2008).
